A Dialogue Between Line and Arc: A Study in Structural Harmony

This project began with nothing more than a piece of cardboard and a halved paper tube—materials I arranged and rearranged until form began to speak. It was part of a class called Full Scale, where we were challenged to design through making. Instead of sketching first, I learned by pushing physical boundaries, feeling balance, tension, and proportion directly with my hands. From those early gestures emerged a coffee table—a study in contrast and cohesion between a single arc and a clean structural line. It’s a piece born not from a screen, but from spatial intuition and tactile play.
