I designed a modular space system for animal shelters based on direct feedback from staff and observations of how cats and dogs react to the smells and stress of the environment. The system features adjustable panels that allow shelter workers to expand or contract the space, giving well-behaved animals more room to move while still maintaining safety. Integrated ventilation significantly reduces lingering odors, helping to create a calmer atmosphere for the animals and staff alike. This design not only improves animal welfare but also gives shelters more flexibility in managing their spaces effectively.
